Do you have a recipe that you make every Christmas no matter what new recipes tantalize you to throw tradition to the wind? My favorite recipe for holiday gatherings and gift-giving is sausage-cheese balls. You know, the ones made with Bisquick, sausage and grated cheddar cheese. The recipe is very basic and very popular. I do put a little twist on mine, adding my own spices rather than using hot sausage, I use mild sausage for my sausage-cheese balls. That way I can control the spiciness by adding my own hot stuff. I add cayenne pepper and ground peppercorns to the mix.
